MRC Council

Since November 3, 2025, the MRC du Golfe-du-Saint-Laurent has been administered by a council composed of a warden elected by universal suffrage and the mayors of the five local municipalities whose territory is included in that of the MRC.

The warden, Mr. Daren Jones, was elected to this position by universal suffrage on November 2, 2025, in the municipal general elections for a four-year term.
