Delivery Issues with Purolator - Press Release

Hello everyone,

Over the past several weeks, we have made repeated attempts to contact Purolator regarding ongoing delivery issues affecting residents of the Lower North Shore. Unfortunately, these emails and calls have gone unanswered.


At the same time, we are receiving consistent feedback from citizens across the region regarding delivery issues: packages are being tracked in the system, appear to circulate through multiple locations, and in some cases disappear from tracking entirely before ever reaching their destination.


This situation points to a larger issue. A lack of operational understanding when it comes to servicing remote regions like the Lower North Shore.


Reliable delivery service is not a luxury here. It is an essential service impacting access to goods, healthcare supplies, and day-to-day living.


Until meaningful communication and solutions are put forward, we are encouraging residents to carefully consider their shipping options and to use Canada Post whenever possible.


We remain open to working directly with Purolator to resolve these issues and improve service for the region.
